Can you make a plane out of canoes? At our Expo, Bruce Atkinson proudly shows off the amazingly sleek “Hornet”, a light aircraft with a fuselage made from fibreglass canoes! We are also proud to meet Ailsa McMillan, an Australian Gliding champion, and David Lee of the Melbourne Gliding Club. Lastly, Ian Morecombe, the Gyrocopter instructor we were lucky enough to meet at the Avalon Airshow, comes to the expo to show off his latest acquisition – the gorgeous and luxurious French-built DTA J-RO Gyrocopter!
